Have Your Say
MP Jamil Jivani has been an outspoken advocate for a Men and Boys’ Health Strategy, writing an open letter to the Prime Minster calling on the Government of Canada to acknowledge the crisis facing young men in Canada.
Recently, the Minister of Health, Marjorie Michel, announced the beginning of consultations for the National Strategy for Men and Boys’ Health. Input gathered through this conversation will inform the development of Canada’s first Men and Boys’ Health Strategy, which will be released later in 2026.
How you can take part
MP Jivani invites everyone to join this conversation and share their ideas and experiences. Members of the public can make submissions for the strategy from March 2nd until June 1st.

- What role do male role models, mentors and community leaders play in shaping healthier norms?
- How can we amplify positive examples of masculinity?

- to support their mental health and well-being?
- for any challenges with substance use or addiction?
4. How do different life stages shape men’s well-being? For example, adolescence, early adulthood, fatherhood, midlife and retirement.
