Support Moms and Dads Through Tough Times
When parents are facing tough times, government policies shouldn’t make things more difficult. Unfortunately, current federal government EI policies and procedures are having a negative impact on moms and dads in the most difficult of circumstances.
End The Temporary Foreign Workers Program
The Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP) is a large contributor to Canada's immigration system getting out of control with unsustainable immigration levels. The TFWP is taking jobs away from Canadians and holding down the wages of Canadian workers.
Support Youth Cadets
The Liberal Government has cut funding to the Sea Cadets, Air Cadets, and Army Cadets programs. First and second year recruits will no longer be issued proper dress uniforms. This is an absurd and disrespectful cut to the Cadet programs.
Cell Service in Clarington
Many parts of Durham Region, including parts of the municipality of Clarington, experience limited, unreliable or non-existent cellular phone service, which negatively impacts public safety and emergency responses, consumer protection, and our local economy of small businesses.
Parental Rights
I am calling on all levels of government to respect the rights of parents to raise their own children and play a leading role in their child’s education.
